Politico2

There are a lot of political leaders in the world but seldom do they have it in them to be one. All these leaders have a lot to offer except for foundational qualities like integrity and accountability. Sure, some of these political figures are doing great work but sadly the number is very less. It is an unfortunate reality that people attribute politics to negativity because that is what they have seen around the ecosystem that they have been raised in. However, some leaders are actually striving the change the society and the political scene in the country for the better. These leaders are pushing their boundaries to help people and set the nation's trajectory right.

Leadership In A Political Framework

Political leaders are important elements of any society and they play an instrumental role by serving as a link between the government and their people. They help foster the relationships of the general public with the government by listening to their grievances and resolving them using their and the government’s resources. They have a major role in enhancing the well-being and quality of living of people in a societal structure.

Leadership is more than just showing up on the election-day, or trying to appear in the limelight, but it is developing relationships with people and helping them live their best lives. It is analyzing a situation and devising an effective plan to benefit people. It is also looking years down the line and deciding on what has to be done right now to enhance the lives of the people of the nation.

Those who are looking to bring about a change, never look for the power or position. Their sole agenda is to serve and create opportunities for the nation and its youth to work for the better. They seek no pleasure in gaining popularity or fame but they are driven by their innate conviction to bring about a positive change.

SIGNS YOU ARE A GOOD POLITICAL Leader

A true leader is a change-maker. However, these are some of the defining signs of a political leader:

  1. He is someone who embodies integrity and loyalty. He must practice these qualities with both the public and the people with whom he works.
  2. Someone who has excellent communication skills and has a fantastic way to work with all kinds of people. He should collaborate with various persons irrespective of their political affinities or opinions to create nothing but the best for the general public.
  3. Someone who can give away flashy benefits attached to his power as an influential public figure.
  4. Someone who has his morals in place. No temptations should be enticing enough to disorient him.
  5. Someone who listens to the public, understands their issues and helps them out effectively.
  6. Someone who stands up for what is right and not for what keeps him in the good books of others.
  7. Someone who has a great sense of responsibility to make decisions less taken.

A true leader focuses on collaboration and mutual development instead of someone who has notions to get what he wants using unethical means. Coercion and negotiation are often necessary (in worse scenarios). The right leader would always prioritize peaceful means at first.

Taking Responsibility…

Not just in the political framework, but taking responsibility is essential in every sphere of life. Assuming responsibility for what you have done or are doing is a demonstration of excellent leadership quality. Politicians are humans too. As they say, to make errors is human. No human being has always made the best decisions in his/her life, and it is normal. What is not normal is not holding yourself accountable for the mistakes that you have made. Many politicians are experts at raising fingers or blaming others for failed political strategies, and there is no leadership there.
Being accountable for your work and actions is what makes you a great leader. One must learn from the mistakes made earlier and implementing the lessons in their future projects.

My Political
Journey

Courage
Integrity
Humility

Social Work has been a crucial part of my childhood. My parents ensured that I was always a part of serving needy people in whatever capacity I could while managing my studies well. I have dedicated my childhood to participating in various social causes and enhancing life in the host region, Lohavat.
While I was managing all this, I also started the Annadata Charitable Trust that aimed at developing the lives of people living in the rural parts of Rajasthan, helping them attain a certain level of quality life by dodging the challenges in their daily lives.

I am an active member of the Bhartiya Janata Party and deliberately participate in my party’s affairs on the regional and national level. I was a part of the BJP in the last Assembly and Lok Sabha
elections to promote my agenda of “India First” across my region.

In my constituency, the polling rate shot up to 70% in the State Assembly Election in 2013, while it never surpassed 40% ever in history. This was an outstanding achievement for me personally as my plan of more inclusion was accomplished here. What made me happy was that there was a big chunk of youth in the voting population, and they enthusiastically participated in voicing their decisions through conscious voting. This youth crowd is also a potential resource to contribute to the success of the rural population of the country.

Going ahead with the Prime Minister’s vision of Swachh Bharat, I dedicatedly formed a young people team to amplify Lohavat and Jodhpur’s agenda. I enrolled 5,000 BJP members in Lohavat to join the primary membership drive, to send the party’s idea of ” being from a party with a difference”. I also organized a youth conclave in Jodhpur to get an insight into youth’s expectations from the party.

I have been instrumental in creating three new Panchayat Samitis and 45 new Panchayats in the Lohawat Vidhan Sabha area, essentially formed to contribute to the region’s development. I have a strong team of young, passionate volunteers trained to resolve the issues of the people in Marwar that we have identified.

I was appointed the Jila Pravasi for Jodhpur District for the BJP’s Mahasampark Abhiyan. I effectively ensured that the party’s message was sent across in the desired manner during the Sadasyata Abhiyan. Each Panchayat, Mandal, Tehsil in the whole district is an essential node in the Abhiyan and a team of diligent workers of the BJP and the BJYM.

Bharatiya Janta Party

Our country, India has strongly built its foundation on resilience and perseverance. As a result it has stayed as is even after many cultural and military invasions as opposed to many civilizations losing their identity and sometimes even existence.

Retaining its idea and culture, India kept its feet firmly planted to the ground after all these invasionary storms. BJP is the flag-bearer of maintaining the essence of cultural Hindutva and has emerged to become that socio-political unit to do the same for the years to come.

The BJP and the Sangh family practice the Hindu concept of fraternity and make no difference among themselves, regardless of the person’s individual creeds. Hindutva is inclusive and includes all of those who practice the Indian culture and are the proponents of everything secular and inclusive.

HIndutva has been the very spirit that serves as the knot in Indian secularism and culture’s vivid tapestry. We embrace the culture and thus, open arms to all of them who preach and practice the same.

This ever beautiful sentiment lays the ground for our Political work too. Under Shyama Prasad and Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s able guidance and leadership, Bharatiya Jana Sangh was formed to protect the cultural fabric of our nation from the communal and Marxist forces.
It became the focal social and political voice for a lot of Hindutva proponents in the country.

The BJP started taking shape during the ever tyrannical throes of the emergency period of 1970. Herein, the Bhartiya Jana Sangh moulded into Bhartiya Janta Party. The struggles of the BJP and its role in undoing
the tyranny of the emergency ushered a phase of political pluralism, in which the BJP emerged as a significant alternative to the existing Congress P primarily led by one family

The party worked a great deal to undo a lot of damage that was done because of the dreadful period of emergency and happened to become a competition to the then-leader, the Congress. Our party managed to get only two seats in the Parliament of 1984.

BJP then became a party to bash pseudo-secularism and outdated centrist policies to make India ready for development gearing-up in the 21st century. The country has always favoured the party for being a change driver in times of requirement.

With our work, we have worked and will continue to present the righteous facts to make every Indian be equal in the eyes of the law. Thanks to the outburst of westernization and globalization that we have seen in the past couple of decades, we cannot retain the world’s oldest civilization, that is India’s.
We work to retain the cultural, administrative, social, and national identity within the country.
In 1998, a dream came to fruition with Shri Vajpayee being installed in the prime minister office since it was always the party’s intent to create a more united, culturally and globally strong front. The much-needed conversations and the measures required for long viz., a ban on religious conversions, came into existence.

Many controversial issues such as the resolution of the Kashmir addressing Kashmir’s full territorial integration into India. Or be it strengthening cultural pride in India’s glories; or modelling Indian society based on integral humanism, which stems from ancient Hindu scriptures of putting the human at the forefront of governance and administration. Ever since this has come into the picture, we have started and stopped having conversations that were needed to have encouraged what Hinduism and Indian culture essentially engulf.

BJYM
Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha

Youth has always played a pivotal role in transforming the face of Indian politics and the country's development. Whether it is Swami Vivekananda, who took the Indian teachings and Hinduism ideologies to the international stage, spirited leaders like Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad took it upon their aggressive ways to free India from the colonial control of the British.

Drawing inspiration from such leaders, we formed the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha to encourage and give young, passionate individuals a platform to evolve India to become a more potent global power. BJYM was the youth wing of the BJP and it was aimed to provide a voice to the young crowd of India that is a group of potential change-makers. It was also because of BJYM that a corrupt Congress UPA was taken down and Shri Narendra Modi Ji was given power.
BJYM has nearly two crore passionate young people pushing their boundaries to unveil India's great potential by using the ocean of creativity, passion, patriotism, and energy. We are doing this by developing a platform for the youth that provides them with equal personal, social, political, and economic growth. Integral humanism being central to us, we aim to develop a local model to prioritize human well-being.

Ever since the formation of this transformational association, a multitude of movements and struggles have started to evade the problems that the youth faces in the country. Various agendas have been laid out to enhance and increase education and employment opportunities respectively. BJYM has launched various agitations to seize the tenure of the corrupt UPA's regime against the UPA government's misdeeds and mismanagement of the country's economy and security. To retain the nation's pride and integrity, a Rashtriya Ekta Yatra was organized from the state of Kolkata to Srinagar.

We also organized Shaheed Shradhanjali Yatra from Guwahati to Tawang. To pay our respects to the brave Jawans who were posted on the borders, we also organized Deshbhaktipurn Sarhad ko Pranam programme. Currently, the BJYM under National President Shri Anurag Thakur's leadership has launched the Panch Kranti Abhiyan to promote awareness regarding five important programmes launched by the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. They engulf Yoga Kranti (Revolution in Yoga), Swachchta Kranti (Clean India), Kaushal Kranti (Skill India), Kanya-Shakti Kranti (Beti Bachaao, Beti Padhaao- save and educate the girl child), and Nirman Kranti (Make in India). The BJYM aims to engage one crore youth through Panch Kranti Abhiyan.

The BJYM has been home to many influential leaders of the BJP. Leaders like Shri Kalraj Mishra, Late Shri Pramod Mahajan, Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan have been a part of the BJYM. Our state's Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje and BJP's National President Shri Amit Shah have also emerged from BJYM.

India has nearly 38 crore young people (age group of 18 to 35 years). It is a widely known fact that there is a storehouse of energy, enthusiasm, and ability in these young individuals. They have great potential to flip the political scene around for the best. Multiple issues like malnutrition, women empowerment, economic growth, national security, sports development, etc. should be dealt with using a fresh approach and perspective. The youth has it in them to execute it exceptionally well. I want to invite all those passionate ones who are ready to contribute with their inputs to the country's development.
