Dhananjai has a deep interest in the history of Marwar, Rajasthan and India and looks to keenly track ancient inter regional movements, which have led to cultural assimilation of people in various regions of India.

 

A Hotelier by profession, he is the Director of the Khimsar Group of Hotels, which has been recipient of the ‘National Grand Heritage Award For Excellence’ (this being the highest recognition conferred upon any heritage property by the Department of Tourism, Government of India).

 

Passion runs Deep…

He is a collector of die-cast models and spends time assembling models on his own. He is also interested in Aero-modeling. One of his biggest passions is restoration of Vintage Automobiles.

The vintage garage at his home in Khimsar is a treat for all those interested in automobiles.  

 

Every car has been restored under his supervision and the many anecdotes that Dhananjai has collected from the times these cars were on the road make for an interesting lesson in the history of cars in the world and their usage in India.

 

The study of our ancient Art and Antiques also interests him. He hopes that the Indian government will bring back all the important artifacts of historic significance, which were exported out of India. Dhananjai believes that every youngster must respect and be proud of India’s culture and history.

Work & Work, Still Time to Play

Dhananjai spends his free time playing the piano and reading books. Reading the Bhagvata Gita helps him relax after a long day in the field. He is also fascinated by astronomy and the uncountable celestial objects in the night sky. whereas, his love for music often finds him with headphones or often behind a microphone.

 

Dhananjai’s love for animals is unmatched and unparalleled. It is something that warms your heart and fills it to the core, without even trying. It is one of the most noble attribute of his humanitarian side that lets us be the judge of the kind of MAN he is.  

 

Documentaries and Films with a message are close to his heart and so is writing to share his thoughts among all.

Sporty Tales

 

 

 

Dhananjai is an avid sports fan with Cricket, Squash, Tennis, Football and Formula 1 being his favorite sports. He is often seen playing Cricket. He also participates in marathons and is a regular practitioner of yoga and meditation.

 

 

His Parents , Raja Gajendra Singh Ji and Priti Kumari Ji, decided early on that Dhananjai should go to Mayo College, Ajmer. Wherein, he proved to be a keen sportsman and a writer. Best Debater, to multiple medals of excellence, he has proven his mettle in all the spheres. And has also been awarded the medal of excellence in Squash, and  the Abdul Wajid Stow Medal for excellence.

 

 

After winning various Inter school championships, he captained Rajasthan in the Under 19 National Squash Championship. He also participated in several International tournaments and secured 3rd position at the Malaysian International Open in Penang.

Dhananjai graduated from the prestigious Ecole Hotelier Glion, Switzerland. and has an envious work experience from the prestigious Hotel Blanca-fort, Barcelona (Spain) and Crowne Plaza, Melbourne (Australia). His education and work experience abroad helped him efficiently manage and interact with people of different backgrounds and cultures.

 

Dhananjai is widely traveled and has visited USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand for various business and social endeavors.
