Friends,to make a country prosperous , more than resources, we need determination, honesty and motivation to work towards the cause.

The words of Swami Vivekanand continue to inspire our people after so many years. He was the ideal mix of Dedication and Knowledge. His vision and dream for the progress of his motherland was what motivated him to spread knowledge about India globally.

When he returned to India in 1896, immediately on reaching the shores he lay down flat on the ground and asked for the divine blessings of Mother India. It is almost akin to a child returning to the lap of his mother after a long separation.

He was a very intelligent personality. Once an American Professor Dr. Wright had said “If we combine all the knowledge that men in our university claim to possess, we will then get a person with Swami Ji’s intellect.”

Today, on his birth anniversary, I urge the people of Rajasthan to unite into a potent force with all your mind, spirit and resources and to pledge your untiring efforts towards the progress of Bharat Mata. This is the only way to truly honor Swami Vivekananda
